šŸ“š Our TBR Reading Challenge Discussion Starts June 9

Good Morning Reader,

I cannot wait to start our TBR pile reading challenge bingo card. Please feel free to invite your friends. Forward this email, and invite them to our group.

As always, read as much or as little as you like. Track however you wish. Bingo cards are always optional.

Below are the dates and topics coming your way in Uncorked Readers. Let us know if you are participating, and how many books you think you have in your TBR piles here (I know, I know. I cannot).

Uncorked Readers TBR Pile Discussion Schedule

✨ Questions will be posted on Tuesdays, June through August, at 6 AM EDT in Uncorked Readers. ✨

• June 9, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge Let’s Go: Share a photo of your bookshelves, TBR piles, digital list, reading journal, etc., in the comments. What book are you going to start with, and how did you accumulate most of your books? Recs from friends, social media, librarians, etc.? Can’t resist the bookstore? Little Free Library (LFL)?

• June 16, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œOldest In Pileā€ – Share the book that has been sitting in your TBR pile for the longest amount of time or has the oldest publication date. Why haven’t you read it? Check back in, and let us know how it was.

• June 23, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œBrightest Coverā€ – Share the book with the most colorful or brightest cover in your stack. Bonus for a photo or screenshot.

• June 30, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œDon’t Remember Why It Is In Your Pileā€ – I don’t know about you, but my e-books and physical bookshelves have a few books I’m not sure why I wanted to read them…or how they got there. Share what you are reading for this one, and let us know if it was worth it.

• July 7, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œFavorite Coverā€ – Judge that book by its cover; share which book you are reading based on the cover love. For fun, what is the worst cover in your pile?

• July 14, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge Check In – How is it going? What are you struggling with? Share what you’ve read so far, and tell us what’s next.

• July 21, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œFree Spaceā€ – Take the opportunity to clear up an extra book on your shelves or use the free space, literally. A few more Uncorked Reader suggestions I ran out of space for include: shortest pages, newest to your TBR pile, given as a gift, recommendation from someone else, or a book that intimidates you. What are you reading?

• July 28, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œStarted But Tabledā€ – Maybe this isn’t a DNF (did not finish); maybe you just weren’t in the mood. Share the book you started but decided you’ll come back to. Is it better now? Worse? DNF?

• August 4, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œImpulse Buyā€ – I cannot *NOT* buy a book in an indie bookstore, whether I need it or not. This could be an impulse buy or borrow from a LFL (little free library). Let us know why you wanted it and what you are reading.

• August 11, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œDigital Formatā€ – While my home office bookshelves are overflowing, my e-reader is looking pretty intimidating. Don’t even get me started on my Libby holds lists… Maybe this is an audiobook for you. What books are you reading or listening to?

• August 18, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge ā€œMost Pagesā€ – Grab the book with the most pages, and share it here. How many pages? Are you ready?

• August 25, 2026 TBR Reading Challenge Final Card – Share your cards, but of course, take all the time you need. We can do this one all year. What books surprised you? What did you love? What didn’t you love?

For those of you who aren't on Facebook, you can always share your picks on StoryGraph.

Thank You SO Much!

And if you are participating, an operating-cost tip is always appreciated (but not required).

Thank you so much to the readers who donated toward our group read and this TBR pile reading challenge, so far. šŸ’• There are no words for how much I appreciate those generous tips to keep this all going.

Should we consider any fall group reads or one last 2026 bonus challenge? All of the above?
