πŸ“š Are you still with us? Let's GO!

Good Morning Reader,

Two quick things I need you to do before we jump into our final bingo card of the year:

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. The next few sections contain affiliate links that earn me commissions at no extra cost to you. This also helps pay for these fun projects.

πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ In A Rush? This newsletter has:

  • 2 witchy fall book lists
  • A Q4 bingo card with themes
  • Our TBR Pile bingo card with no dates
  • Quick updates for TUL (Uncorked Reading 2027!)

I love love loved The Burning Side by Sarah Damoff and In Stormy Weather by Chelsea Curto. Theo of Golden brought me more rage than perimenopause.

πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Channel Your Inner Witch With These Books

With Practical Magic 2 in theatersβ€”I still have to see it, but I have heard great reviewsβ€”and in honor of Alice Hoffman's newest novel, The Witches of Cambridge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, I recently updated my favorite witchy reading list.

After spending a fun day in Salem, MA, visiting The House of the Seven Gables before the October crowd chaos, I also updated our Salem Witch Trials reading list.

πŸ“š October - December 2026 Uncorked Reading Challenge

This bingo card is filled with warmth and even more indulgence. I cannot wait to see what you pick.

If you use Canva, here is a link to edit reading challenge templates. Or upload this bingo card to any app or editing program you use. Cards are 1000px by 1500px. Of course, using cards/this format is not required. Track and share any way you wish.

To get the most out of this challenge, join our private Facebook group, Uncorked Readers, and follow along on The StoryGraph.

A participation tip is always appreciated. Your generous donations make a difference in how much I can offer each year.

October through December topics include:

  • Guilty Pleasure - This could be a book you are embarrassed to read in public, something a little steamy, or maybe just an innocent indulgence. Chocolate cake? Adopting all the senior kitties? Reading really bad romance books...
  • Baking - Just in time for the new season of GBBO (I am watching. Are you?). Time to make that cake and eat it too! Find a fiction or nonfiction book about baking.
  • Family - This might be found family, books about siblings, holiday gatherings, Friendsgiving, pets, and more.
  • Snow - Head to a snowy destination, read about sledding or another snowy sport, or read a book with a blizzard. Snow on the cover is always fun.
  • Celestial - We talked about looking to the sky, so let's focus on the stars, what we cannot see, space, magic, and more. Maybe this is something divine and godlike. Moon, sun, stars; make it yours! A goddess in literature?!
  • Glitter - A 5-star read, glitter on the cover, people who sparkle, or a NYE party? I cannot wait to see your interpretation here.
  • Footprints - Read a children's book, a book that leaves footprints on your heart, or a book with footprints on the cover. Maybe read another book with snow or sand where you can see footprints. How about a book with Bigfoot?!
  • Music - Find a book about music or one that makes you sing.
